Erik and I wanted to spend part of our anniversary with Korbin so we decided to go down to the aquarium! It was such a fun time and as you will see, BOTH of my boys had a blast!! :)
So we took a little trip to the ER tonite... I was in the bath with Korbin and he accidentally grabbed one of my shavers. It nicked the tip of his finger and of course looked TERRIBLE so off we went. By the time we got to the ER it had stopped bleeding and we could tell it wasn't that bad. He didn't even need stitches thankfully. He actually fell asleep waiting in the room so he obviously wasn't in too much pain.....such a lil trooper!
So I really hope this isn't a sign of things to come, (however i'm sure it is) but he's crawling. Granted, it's more of a controlled scoot, but hey he's 5 months old, what can we really do? It's amazing how every day you can watch the gears turning in his head as he's trying to figure out what ever is new. Usually it involves something along the lines of "hmm, what is this thing, and how can i fit it in my mouth and get my teeth into it". Nevertheless, the gears ARE turning, and that makes me a proud father, I do know however that all this pride will quickly turn to regret, for now he will become a non-"self conatined, just sit him up on the couch, and i'll run upstairs and grab some clothes" kinda kid, and i will now have to have the house vaccumed every day. (haha like that'll happen, but it was the thought that counts right?) Anyway, to all those who "needed proof" let the comments begin!
Korbin loves his jumperoo....so much in fact that he jumped himself to sleep! Its hilarious to me that hes only 5 months but already is so much like Erik!! (he can also fall alseep anytime/anywhere..haha)
